About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Receptionist for a temporary position with our reputable GP Surgery in London, SW7. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, contributing to the smooth operations of the medical practice.

• Location: London, SW7
• Type: Part-time (Mondays and Wednesdays)
• Duration: January 29th - February 28th
• Timing: 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm (except for February 14th, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and visitors professionally, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Use System One experience to efficiently manage electronic medical records.
Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
Assist with billing and insurance claims processing in collaboration with the administrative team.
Maintain and update patient records with precision and confidentiality.
Prepare and organize medical charts and files for easy accessibility.
Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area.
